What is the Third Eye?

What is the third eye? If people don't know what it is, do they understand what it is, how to open it, and how it's connected to the nervous system? What does it do? Many associate it with things like astral projection and heightened awareness, but the complete understanding often remains elusive. This essay provides an overview of the concept and explains why many consider it dangerous.

The Third Eye as a Counterfeit Gate

Many believe that the third eye – called a chakra in some traditions – is located in the center of the forehead. But in reality, it corresponds to the pineal gland. Those who seek to engage with the occult often wish to encounter the spirit world. They desire to gain perception of it, and in order to do that, they need to open a gate that allows them to do so. There are specific ways and rituals by which a person can open their third eye, heightening their sensitivity to the spirit world. But here's the important distinction: in Christ, believers actually have spiritual senses that God designed humans to use, along with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. But the third eye is not one of those God-given senses. Many Christians consider the third eye to be a counterfeit gate.
"For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect." - Matthew 24:24
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light." - 2 Corinthians 11:14

Chakras and God's Design

A lot of people ask about the chakra system and New Age meditations, where they are seeking alignment and such. Many spiritual leaders acknowledge that chakras and energy points do exist and can be activated through New Age practices, but there's a reason why they exist that doesn't necessarily align with God's intended purpose for humanity. The human body, as many observe, was engineered by a genius – God, who created humans in His image.

Our bodies function like giant electrical circuits, with electrical impulses firing throughout. The neural network forms a path of electrical signals that go to and from the brain. Many of these pathways create what traditional Chinese medicine calls meridian lines, which are energy pathways that travel through the body – a concept supported by scientific observation.
"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." - Psalm 139:13-14
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." - Genesis 1:27

Energy Fields of the Body

Our organs generate energy fields, and depending on the organ, these energy fields can be larger or smaller. The field around the brain extends about a foot from the body, but the field around the heart extends 8 to 12 feet. People can actually feel someone's heart realm when they come into a room. These energy fields are defined by specific equations, and they are toroidal in shape. That means they are shaped like a doughnut, but if compressed, they become spherical. If pulled apart, they look like a tube.
"A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart." - Luke 6:45

The Body as an Electrical Circuit

Because the human body functions like an electrical circuit, there are convergence points where a lot of activity is centralized. These points can be manipulated. Many believe they occur at certain locations in the body, including what is called the chakra system. So yes, there are natural convergence points of energy flow, but if demonic processes are used, these points can be opened up for purposes God did not design.

The third eye, for example, becomes a gate to see into the spirit world, but many faithful believers contend it's not something God intended for humans to use. It's considered counterfeit, and it doesn't provide sight into the things of God. Instead, it allows vision into the astral plane and the demonic realm. Many who have experienced this as children describe it as torment. There was no peace. When seeing into the spirit world through these means, it was awful and fear-inducing.
"For God is not a God of confusion but of peace." - 1 Corinthians 14:33
"Test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil." - 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

Closing the Third Eye, Working with the Holy Spirit

When ministering to people affected by these practices, many spiritual counselors close the third eye and teach them to work with the Holy Spirit to do any kind of spiritual seeing that they are supposed to do, using their God-given spiritual senses. The third eye is not considered legitimate in this understanding.
"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth." - John 16:13
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7

The Dangers of Unauthorized Spiritual Practices

This explains why many Christian business owners who interact with people from different spiritual backgrounds – Christians, Hindus, New Age practitioners, etc. – exercise caution when discussing spiritual practices, especially regarding psychedelics. Many spiritual leaders warn that if one enters the spiritual realm through any means other than the Holy Spirit, they forfeit His protection. People can become trapped through astral projection or psychedelics.

The same could happen with the third eye. There are realms that are not safe if one is not being taken there by the Holy Spirit. It's considered very dangerous. The spirit world, especially at lower levels, is full of hazards.
"Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." - 1 Peter 5🎱

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." - Ephesians 6:12

Understanding Regions of Captivity

Many spiritual warfare experts speak of regions of captivity – areas in the spirit world where human souls are housed. Some individuals have gone through Satanic rituals or ancestral practices that opened them up to captivity. This could also happen through drugs or other demonic influences, where pieces of the soul or spirit are captured.

Drugs, especially psychedelics, are identified as a major pathway for this awful phenomenon. When people forfeit the protection of the Holy Spirit, sometimes these demonic forces can intervene and capture aspects of humanity. They don't seek money or material things; they want the soul, allegedlythey want fragments of spirit, because they can use them for their purposes.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." - John 10:10
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." - Ephesians 6:11

Biblical References to Soul Trafficking

The Bible addresses this concept in Revelation 18, where Babylon trades in the bodies and souls of men. Regions of captivity are considered real, and souls get trafficked in these regions. What are they used for? Many say Power. For example, warlocks may capture pieces of a person's soul (see below for freedom from that). Ezekiel 13:18 talks about "soul hunters," and many believe this practice is ancient but continues today.
"And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore... and wine and oil and fine flour and wheat, and cattle and sheep, and horses and chariots, and slaves, that is, human souls." - Revelation 18:11-13
"Thus says the Lord God: Woe to the women who sew magic bands upon all wrists, and make veils for the heads of persons of every stature, in the hunt for souls!" - Ezekiel 13:18

The Reality of Soul Fragments

There are cases where people's soul fragments are stored in other people's bodies, a phenomenon encountered frequently by those who work in deliverance ministry. This is why many deliverance ministers have prayers like "freedom from human persecutors." In some cases, people have soul fragments lodged in them that aren't their own, which can cause sickness. The Bible warns about this, particularly in Revelation 18, where it speaks of Babylon trading in the bodies and souls of men.
"And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten..." - Joel 2:25
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound." - Isaiah 61:1

Locations of Spiritual Captivity

Many spiritual warfare experts have observed that people's souls and spirit fragments can get trapped in various regions – even off-planet. They have found soul fragments in places like the moon, Mars, the Pleiades, and even in the underworld. These fragments are sometimes used in mining operations or other dark activities. In one case, a deliverance minister was working with a person who had been part of mind control projects, and they discovered that their inner world had been shaped with the help of programmers, drugs, and torture. At one point, they encountered the soul of a Nazi stored inside them, a result of some kind of soul transmigration process.

The Process of Spiritual Deliverance

When working with deliverance, ministers deal with regions of captivity and locations where soul fragments have been trafficked. These fragments are often abused, and they can be trapped in various locations, including space or even other realms. As practitioners work through deliverance, they use powerful prayers to free these fragments and people. One such prayer is called a "rum buster" prayer, which can break through these regions of captivity in just minutes, bringing massive breakthroughs and healing.

Signs of Soul Capture and the Path to Healing

If someone suspects their soul is being captured or traded, it often begins with dysfunction in their life. It might manifest as sleep problems, voices in the head, or blackouts. As ministers work closely with the Holy Spirit, these issues begin to unravel. Through the process of deliverance, people may experience visions or encounters, and spiritual counselors help them navigate these realms to retrieve their soul fragments and set them free.

The Fruit of Spiritual Understanding

This represents the fruit of understanding the spiritual world and using biblical tools to bring healing and deliverance. Many find it incredible what can happen when believers engage with the Holy Spirit in this process of restoration and freedom.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ,

I come before Your throne of grace, declaring Your sovereignty over all realms, dimensions, and kingdoms. I acknowledge that at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. Today, I petition for the complete restoration of my soul.

Lord Jesus, I ask that You would dispatch Your angels to search out and recover every fragment of my soul and spirit that has been scattered, captured, imprisoned, or trafficked in any realm, dimension, or location - whether in the Marine Kingdom, underground realms, hollow earth, astral planes, or any other place in creation.

By the authority of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross, I command all soul fragments to be released now from:

Father, seal this work by Your Holy Spirit and restore to me the years that the locust has eaten. Make me whole as You intended from the beginning of creation.

As a child of the Most High God, seated with Christ in heavenly places, I decree:

Every spiritual gateway in my being that was not established by God is now closed and sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

The third eye and all counterfeit gates are permanently closed, rendered inactive, and replaced with the true spiritual sight that comes only through the Holy Spirit.

My heart is aligned with God's truth, and I operate only in the spiritual senses that He designed for me to use.

Every word I speak carries the creative power of faith, weighted with understanding and aligned with God's promises.

All ley lines, energy pathways, and spiritual territories connected to my life are now reclaimed and redirected for God's purposes.

Heavenly Father,

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I renounce and reject all involvement, known or unknown, with any counterfeit spiritual practices that have opened gateways within me.

Lord Jesus, I specifically ask You to close and seal the third eye chakra and any other counterfeit spiritual gates that have been opened in me through New Age practices, occult involvement, generational patterns, trauma, or any other means. Instead enlighten the eyes of my heart according to Eph 1:18

I surrender all occult spiritual sight, knowledge, and experiences to You, asking that You purify my spiritual senses according to Your design and purpose.

By Your authority, I permanently close all portals to:

• The astral plane
• The Marine Kingdom
• Underground realms
• Hollow earth
• Any interdimensional spaces not ordained by You

I ask for the fire of the Holy Spirit to purify every part of my being - body, soul, and spirit. Restore my God-given spiritual senses and align them perfectly with Your Holy Spirit.

I reject all counterfeits and embrace only the genuine spiritual gifts and discernment that come from You.

As an ambassador of Christ, authorized by His name and blood, I decree:

All agreements with spiritual captivity are now null and void.

All soul contracts established through rituals, ceremonies, oaths, or vows are canceled and rendered powerless by the superior blood covenant of Jesus Christ.

Every spirit entity assigned to monitor, control, or manipulate my life is now bound and removed by the authority of Jesus Christ.

All effects of spiritual programming, mind control, and manipulation are broken off my life completely.

Heavenly Father,

I thank You that You created me as a spirit with a soul, living in a body. I ask for Your healing and integration to flow through every aspect of my being.

Lord Jesus, let Your light shine into every fracture, division, and wounded place within me. Bind together that which has been scattered, heal that which has been broken, and restore that which has been stolen.
